Hide Nothing.

ElNiño Sillon is one of our favourites when it comes to combining both our upcoming themes: Male Nudes and Horror. His photography is a unique blend of the macabre, the intimate, and this great artist’s moods of the moment. Read about suicide and fetishes.

What fascinates you about horror?

I love horror. I’m passionate of horror… blood…entrails…pain…blades…darkness… I have a few rare tastes, macabre… From a very early age I really like horror and gore films. I’m always having very violent and macabre thoughts. I love being able to imagine how my suicide will be. I always think about death. Horror is my home, it is a place that shelters me.

Your male nudes have a very strong feeling. How do you manage to do that?

For me, the male anatomy is very beautiful and sensual. I always use my naked body. I love to see me naked. I spend hours in front of the mirror. I like to watch my boyfriend while showering. I’m voyeur. I try to create a small special world, in which the naked model is comfortable. I have many fetishes, toes…legs…the ass…hair…a good cock. My male nudes have a strong feeling because they are very personal and intimate. For me, so intimate is public. I don’t want to hide anything. I never hide anything.

What is your creative process? Could you describe it for us?

My creative process is complex and diverse. In relation to my nudity, it is a kind of personal therapy. I hate my body and I love it at the same time. I’m a narcissistic and egocentric person. Every day I like to see me naked at home. This observation will help me have ideas to create my projects. Also, the ideas are born in me when I feel like a voyeur with my boyfriend. Porn movies stimulate me when looking for ideas. My great creative process lies in post-production. First, I think of the images. Then I take my camera and shoot. Once I have the Raw files, I sometimes smoke a joint and start the selection and editing. At the time of editing, my mood of that moment predominates the retouching.
