Antoine Harinthe is a self taught French photographer, based in Paris. Devoted to photography he started shooting weird scenes, disconcerting situations, or people he met at the corner of a local bar or during a trip. You shoot different styles of pictures, editorials, portraits and personal, what kind of pictures do you enjoy most shooting and why?
For me the first interest is capturing images and scenes that I find strong and share emotions. I think editorial, portrait or personal are linked, and the combination of theses elements is very rich. You can discover, learn or create a universe and tell a story. Make it unique and if you succeed it is ace!
Where do you get your inspiration from?
I’m inspired by the street, because you can meet very different people, weird scenes, disconcerting situations, it’s always a surprise.
Of all places you have visited and photographed, which one has impressed you the most?
I love to travel, I really like a lot a cities for different reasons. Each trip is meeting, good/hard moments and souvenirs forever. I wish I could do more traveling because discovering new places is knowledge!
